November Gratefulness

November has arrived

Be Thankful Challenge

november 1, 2011

When I think about the month of November, I usually associate it with being thankful. After all, it’s the month when we celebrate Thanksgiving and remember what we are thankful for. Life is full of many challenges, ups and downs, but through it all it is the small almost undetectable miracles that happen every day around us that keeps me grateful. Terry and I are very blessed by all of you who bring your love, wisdom, and truth to us.

With this in mind, I’ve decided to challenge myself to a month of thankfulness. For every day of November, I will mention something that I am thankful for.

If you want to participate in the Thankful Challenge yourself, all you need to do is ask yourself the question, “What am I thankful for today?” and share it with someone each day of November. It doesn’t need to be life-changing or require a lot of thought. The idea is just to be thankful for something, even if that means being thankful for flannel sheets, a hug from your best friend, or dark chocolate being on sale at the grocery store!

In leu of chocolate… Try Our Aromatherapy So Pure Natural Balance Hair & Body Care utilizes 100% pure plant essential therapy to create a truly sensorial experience of well-being, for mind, body & soul. AROMATHERAPY: FOR BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT.

For centuries, AROMATHERAPY has been used in health and beauty care. Today, Aromatherapy can be used in hair care, massage, baths, inhalations, and body scrubs to restore and regenerate us. The choice of oils can be customized to your needs and emotional state. Whether inhaled or applied topically, aromatherapy requires an understanding of how each essential oil interacts with the body, as well as the mind.

Essential oils are antibacterial, anti fungal, antiviral, antispasmodic, and antidepressant. They eliminate toxins, reduce stress, and tension, and firm, tone, cleanse and moisturize your skin. They help aid relaxation, circulation and wound healing

Essential oils work two ways. First, they penetrate the skin and affect the bloodstream (like a nicotine patch). Secondly, when they are inhaled they directly affect the nervous system. Our olfactory system affects our hypothalamus which regulates our hormones. So, getting a whiff of jasmine or peppermint can alter your mood and emotions. Science has proven that our memory of smell is one of our strongest.

ADD IT TO HAIR CARE: with just a few drops to your shampoo or conditioner, you can increase the moisturizing effect and sensory experience.

ADD IT TO A SCRUB: Feel toned and invigorated after exfoliation with a wonderful potion of essential oil and sea salt.

ADD IT TO SKINCARE: Detoxify, relax and revitalize your body and skin. So Pure aromas can be added to your favorite skin lotion or your bath ritual
